When a secret from Chris’s past shatters everything Lucy thought she knew about her closest ally, she’s forced to consider a terrifying question: How easily will Chris bend to his mother’s evil will?
Packed with suspense, GONE TO DIE is a dark psychological thriller with a shocking mystery that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.
FROM MY MIND'S EYE:
This , the third book in the Lucy Kendall series, was by far the best yet. The author acknowledged she had done the most research for this book and it certainly showed and added depth to the story.
Finally we got to see Lucy's internal struggle with her demons. How was she to continue to justify her violent actions and her own dark pleasure in them? What made her any different from those she pursued? I liked the conflict within the main character...it added that wonderful quality of realism.
I have followed Stacy Green for sometime now and I believe there is a new maturity in her writing with this book. Yes, it is a psychological thriller. Yes there's plenty of mystery and surprising twists throughout. And yes, this was a pretty awesome read
I rated this a five wink read.
