FROM MY MIND'S EYE:
Cage Foster is a favorite character of mine and I enjoy Green's novellas--short crime suspense reads. One thing about a novella is they are short and you can read a complete tale in one sitting, which lends itself to immediate gratification rather than stretching the suspense for several days.
Green has a unique and refreshing writing style. Her stories incorporate a lot of desperation to resolve the crimes, but the story is never rushed and flows smoothly to a satisfactory conclusion.
I highly recommend Green as an up and coming crime writer. I have rated this a 4 Wink Read.
