Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.” —Groucho Marx

Sunday Post, 12-16-12

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I am seriously trying to slow life down.  I find myself overbooked and getting behind and I am in great pain from sitting and reading at my computer.    So, my reviews and postings will slow down in the upcoming weeks.   By doing so, I hope to spend a little more time away from the computer and squeeze in more of my own personal reading pleasure.

The greatest man I ever met, passed away Friday night.  He was my pastor and if anyone could be welcomed to heaven, I am sure he was.   I will miss him greatly.   So my heart hurts selfishly for myself.  RIP Brother Butcher and thank you for all the many years you blessed me as my pastor, mentor and friend.

Have a great week my Peeps.   In light of the horrendous events in Connecticut, hug your young uns close and treasure those you love.   Bless you all!

I saw that someone else got Secret Santa. It is always a good idea to take some time to yourself. Read the books that have been calling your name!
