The Space In Between by

Good Morning Peeps!   I am a bit tardy with this review as I have been ill and could not catch up on my reading while under the weather, but I have an honest to god treat for you today.    We will begin with the synopsis of this debut contemporary romance from  Brittany C Cherry and after I fill you in with the documented information, we'll look at my perspective.

Synopsis:

New Adult Contemporary
Date Published: 9/17/2013

She’s scarred by her past.
ANDREA EVANS is traumatized and guilt-ridden by the death of her fiancée. Tired of the gossiping small town, she travels to New York City to pursue her dream of dance. When her dreams don’t instantly come to fruition, she ends up working at a strip club with her best friend.
He’s uncertain of his future.
COOPER DAVIDSON is a famous photographer and reality television star trying to flee from his own life filled with paparazzi, mental health clinics, and a cheating wife who is pregnant.
When Andrea and Cooper’s paths cross, they realize how damaged and in need of escapism they both are. The two create an arrangement to explore the space in between chaos and order with one another. The rules are simple—no emotional connections, no talking about the past, no speaking of the future, and when one finds order, the other walks away.
All is well until Cooper falls in love with Andrea. Will Andrea open up and let someone else into her closed off heart? Can Cooper stop the tabloids and his crazed wife from exposing his past and painting Andrea as a prostitute to the world before her life spirals back down to the land of chaos?

Meet Brittany C Cherry:

Brittainy Cherry has been in love with words since the day she took her first breath. She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her loved ones and loves a great romance. The Space In Between is her debut novel and she looks forward to the world being able to read it!  Other hobbies that she loves to take part in are writing screenplays, acting, and dancing—poorly of course.

From My Perspective:

I loved this book.  I didn't think I would, but I was treated to a surprise.   I could easily relate to Andrea's broken-ness.   I loved her friend Ladasha and I believe I fell just as much in love with Cooper Davidson as any reader could.    These characters and the surrounding cast of characters became very real to me in the writing of Ms Cherry.   So character development= strong and true.   Storyline was strong, consistent, and the reading was fluent and smooth.  Actually, Brittany had a surprise or two for the reader as she tied her characters together through various sub characters.   A-ha moments and I liked that.

The conflict was set up quite believably and as in most cases, time is the best healer!  There is so much to be said for this great love story, but I am fearful of giving away too much.   Ms Cherry allowed her characters to unfold their story, their drama and their brokenness.   True friendships were forged as were truly romantic relationships.   I thought Ms Cherry did an excellent job of creating a very satisfying, romantic read which included lots of wisdom and humor as well.

I would definitely recommend this read to those who enjoy romance, pure and simple.  I rate this book a 5 WINK read and would encourage Ms Cherry to continue on, as this  was a debut novel and she has what it takes to hold a reader's interest and heart...a lovely story, The Space In Between.

Haven't we all been there, in between chaos and order at some point in our lives?   Now for those of you who would like to participate, Brittany has added a giveaway so follow the Rafflecopter below:
