Anyway, on with today's review from my Perspective:
Well worth the read, Warrant for Love told the story of two sisters and their friend--LeeAnn, Nicky and Jade. These were strong women who were dealing with the different men in their lives and on occasion taking each other's business in hand to straighten it out. Sheryl Browne is exceptional at her character development and this reader could easily relate to all three women and their loves and exes. Richard was the epitome of sleaze...loved to hate him as I read. Paul was a copper who lacked communication prowess, but he was solid and loyal and knew what he wanted. Steve was a misunderstood husband, torn between his wife and an ailing mother. Last was Saun, a business man with eyes only for Jade, but things happened at the wrong time and place, causing doubt and distrust to almost ruin a perfect life.
It was a fun story with children adding complications, an ex wife sharing the white knight in blue, teenagers thrusting angst into the mix and lots of misunderstandings and sorting out for all. Truly an enjoyable read once I could pull the book out and read at my leisure. Ms Browne is a master of words and characterization with a quick wit and humor to boot! I rate this at 4 WINKS!
