I recently made the acquaintance of Beth Fred through her blogspot (http://bethfred.blogspot.com/ ) . She is in the process of becoming an author and offered her short story Kismet for review and I took her up on it.
If you get the chance, read it. It's only a 48 page read, but it is pretty good.
Tiffany and Kammy are sisters. Kammy is getting married and she wants her bachelorette party to be held in Cancun and for Tiffany to cover the expenses. As in the case of sisters, sometimes one takes the advantage of the other. Kammy, tall and beautiful and blonde, parties hard with her twelve invited guests and the various male strippers they hire for the party, (unbeknownst to Tiffany, the financial handler of this wild party). One is always sensible and the other, one french fry short of a happy meal. What can I say?
The wild party at the hotel in Cancun gets way out of hand and it goes downhill from there for the girls. Tiffany has left her room for the bar where it is quiet and sane. She meets a man who becomes her interpretor, friend and boyfriend in the space of a few hours. Boy he sounded HOT!
But I'm saying no more....it takes the whole weekend and a Monday to get everything together for the girls to leave Cancun and a sad ending to a weekend of romance for Tiffany...or is it? A delightful story imho.
I really enjoyed it and you should too! Thanks for sharing Beth. I hope you get lots of requests!
